Royal Palace of Naples

The construction of the Royal Palace of Naples began in 1602 by order of the Viceroy of Naples, its design was made by the architect Domenico Fontana. It was the official residence of the Spanish and Austrian viceroys, sovereign of the House of Bourbon and the Neapolitan residence of the House of Savoy after the unification of Italy.
